An Early Happy 4th of July and Update on This Blog

Hi everyone! It’s been a few weeks since I published on this blog and my second blog. (The Estella Initiative) I needed time off blogging due to major burn out and to focus on my health and my relative’s health. Things are fine with my relative, but my allergies have been a major problem for me. Taking time off blogging has allowed me to spend my free time on figuring out what is going on with my health instead of constantly working on new blogs posts.

Since I’ve been gone, I wanted to write posts on my two blogs about where I’ve been and what my plans are for the future of my blogs.

If you are used to seeing ads on this blog, you will probably be surprised that they are either heavily reduced or are completely gone. I didn’t like the placement of the ads, so I decided to turn them off until I figured out what is going on. After turning them off, I realized I really enjoyed having no ads on my blogs. I don’t earn a lot from ads, so it wasn’t a huge problem for me to turn them off. Instead, I plan on focusing on using my blogs as portfolios of my writing and anything else I create. It is more fun for me to post things without the additional stress of worrying about ads.

As for any updates for this blog, I am doing some major cleaning. One of the major problems is that there are links that are broken and profiles that no longer exist that needed to be removed. I am still working on it, but so far things are looking and working better on my blog.

I am still sewing and making things. I am currently working on a Christmas duvet cover for myself. I am also working on creating a new scarf and beanie (They are supposed to be color replicas of a scarf and beanie I already own and love, but is made out of synthetic yarn) Other projects are a fall duvet cover, pajama bottoms, dresses, and other things my relative and I need, but I cannot find in store or made out of natural fabrics. (I’m trying to avoid aggravating my allergies and skin problems wherever possible.)

Before I end this post, I want to wish everyone an early happy 4th of July! I don’t have a lot of plans for it, but I am hopeful I will have a happy and fun 4th of July, even if it is a modest one!

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
